Rainbow Garnet 14k Ring

A truly unique ring! The center stone is a American rainbow garnet from the San Pedro Mountains in New Mexico. The natural crystal faces have been polished to better show the intense iridescence. This is one of the best examples of rainbow garnet I have ever come across. I had it in my collection for nearly 8 years before I designed this ring around it. 

It's accented by SI1 white diamonds and 14k yellow gold. The ring itself was hand carved in wax and cast in beautiful 14k yellow gold. I love the natural nugget-looking texture on of the gold.
